Goodmail Systems Announces CertifiedEmail Charter Sender Program
Qualified Volume Emailers Can Try Trusted Email Free for 90 Days
Mountain View, CA; July 18, 2006 -- Goodmail Systems, creator of the CertifiedEmail system for trusted email, today announced the CertifiedEmail Charter Sender Program. Available through September 30, 2006, the Charter Sender Program gives qualified volume email senders the opportunity to try Goodmail's CertifiedEmail service free of sending costs for 90 days and provides significant discounts on service beyond that period. CertifiedEmail is Goodmail's system for restoring trust to email communications among volume senders and their consumer recipients, providing senders assured delivery and consumers a level of security against phishing and other forms of email-based fraud.
"Legitimate volume email senders have been dealing with decreased deliverability and effectiveness of their marketing and transactional messages for several years," said John Ouren, senior vice president of sales and business development for Goodmail Systems. "ISPs routinely disable links and images as a precaution against phishing, but this harms both brand and email effectiveness. CertifiedEmail assures delivery to the server-level inbox and presents messages with all links and images intact, while simultaneously assuring consumers that messages are authentic."
Accredited senders with the best email practices can choose to send their marketing and transactional messages via Goodmail's CertifiedEmail service which imprints a cryptographically-secure token on outgoing email messages and lets participating ISPs and mailbox providers like AOL and Yahoo! assure delivery of those messages to the server-level inbox with full message functionality enabled.
Goodmail's service is only available to accredited, legitimate senders and all CertifiedEmail messages are clearly labeled with a unique trust icon. Recipients of CertifiedEmail messages obtain an added level of security against phishing and other forms of email-based fraud since they are assured that messages are indeed from the purported senders.
The Charter Sender Program allows qualified volume email senders to send unlimited numbers of CertifiedEmails at no cost per token for 90 days, provided they sign up by September 30, 2006. The one-time, nonrefundable application fee for CertifiedEmail accreditation is discounted during Charter Sender Program availability. Charter Senders also receive generous reductions on token purchases beyond the initial 90-day period into 2007.
