Job Description
The Senior Director Product Management will own the entire product lifecycle, from strategy through development to business impact, for all of our product offerings. This is a rare opportunity to work for the category leader to lead the development, definition and implementation of product and strategy in the exploding market occurring today, that is converging the best of Web 2.0 with email (video, e-commerce, social networking, bill pay gaming etc.) inside email inboxes.
You must be extremely results driven, customer focused, technologically savvy, and skilled at building internal relationships and external partnerships. This is mission critical position with broad strategy ownership and responsibilities, including the following activities:
- Customer Engagement. Work with customers to determine needs and demand for our products.
- Product Management. Work with technical designers and engineers to translate these needs into MRDs and PRDs for products that meet market needs and delight customers. Manage the development process, assigning priorities and monitoring schedules.
- Strategy. Leverage our market leadership position to uncover new opportunities and set the direction and product roadmap for Goodmail.
- Evangelist. Speak on behalf of the company at industry events, press, customers and prospects.
- Start up Experience. Deliver results in a fast moving environment.
- Sales Advocate. Support sales team on calls and other pre and post sales activities.
- Visionary. Create and drive the product vision for Goodmail.
Skills and Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial experience and success creating great products is highly valued. Demonstrated ability to gather user requirements and convert them into a winning product vision.
- Strong technology skills; familiarity with internet technologies and preferably with email standards.
- Excellent relationship building skills.

Job Description
The Account Manager is the primary pre and post-sale point of contact for our clients. An account manager will be assigned an account once it reaches the contract signed/pending deployment stage in the Goodmail Systems sales process. Each assigned account will have revenue goals to be achieved on a yearly basis. It is the account manager’s responsibility to meet or exceed the revenue goals for their assigned accounts. Goodmail’s Team of Account Managers work across all aspects of our existing customer (sender) relationships, including coordinating business issue resolution, managing account expectations, as well as preparation and delivery of data presentations to existing accounts to drive new and additional business for Goodmail Systems.
Responsibilities
- Pre-Sale Testing
Ensure CustomerCare sets up the account in the MailCenter Establish testing methodology and work with senders to implement testing for Goodmail Systems services Define sender-specific success metrics and direct testing toward measurement of value - Performance Evaluation
Prepare and provide performance report and value proposition to justify continued service Develop ROI models based on sender-specific success criteria - Sender Conversion
Facilitate conversion process based on pre-set performance goals - Relationship Building
Understand the client’s go to market strategy in order to help them optimize their use of Goodmail Systems services and continue to advance and build the relationship over time. Build strong long lasting relationships and provide exceptional service to assigned accounts. Ensure assigned accounts consider providing Goodmail Systems with a reference. Sales will notify the appropriate Account Manager if a reference is required. The Account Manager will contact that account to request and clear the way for the reference call. Work with marketing and industry relations to prepare and maintain case studies and press release information for assigned account on an ongoing basis. - Account Planning
Prepare an account specific business development plan for each account deemed worthy of such activity. This plan should include a map of the client’s organization identifying future opportunities for account growth. Work with senior management to develop account strategies that drive sales and profitability of assigned accounts. Coordinate with appropriate internal Goodmail Systems departments the development of pricing requests, contracts, and other needed documents to support account growth of existing accounts. Expand and diversify Goodmail Systems product and service offerings by proactively working to develop new revenue and profit opportunities with assigned accounts. Successfully achieve performance goals, which in 2009 are based on revenue from your assigned accounts. - Enable additional ISPs
Enable timely additions of new ISPs to MTA configuration tables to support corporate volume goals – as available and supported by Goodmail operations. - Communications
Serve as Goodmail Systems’ internal subject matter expert on each assigned account. Know the objectives, goals, players and influencers for your accounts. Communicate critical information in a timely manner to the appropriate personnel at Goodmail Systems and within the account’s organization on any issue requiring action or providing an opportunity to improve business results. Proactively notify sales of new business opportunities with new divisions or groups, outside of the current account relationship. If there is a question about what should be handed off to sales the issue will be resolved by the VP of Channel Sales (for ESP senders) or VP of Sales (for Self-senders). Coordinate senders and customer care discussions around reputation issues. Work with the Team of Account Managers to resolve issues that are across multiple customers. - Reports to VP of Sales

We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Generation Representative to fill a telemarketing position. This individual will be based in our Mountain View, CA headquarters office. He/she will further develop the company's database of prospective clients by identifying and qualifying prospects and setting appointments for our Sales Directors.
